Wholistic Stress Management (Pay in Full)

The Wholistic Stress Management Trainer of Trainers Certification for Stress Education course is a 2-day Intensive or a 7 week evening course.

Course Details:

The goal of this training is to provide coaches, health practitioners, and educators with the necessary skills to implement a stress management program in their workplaces, classrooms and/or schools.

The training is available to educators, counselors, social workers, administrators, and other staff. The training will cover these areas:

  • Stress management for adults.
  • Stress reduction techniques for students/youth.
  • Stress free learning techniques.
  • Stress management resource and referral information.

Workshop covers basic techniques for dealing with stress and wholistic approach for stress management and wellness.

A variety of methods will be used to present the training effectively, such as lectures, discussions, role play, and other various exercises. This will be an interactive workshop; trainers will be encouraged to participate in various activities in order to gain maximum understanding and methods application. Class size will be limited to ten (10) participants/students per cohort.

The focus of this workshop is wholistic – honoring the integration, balance and harmony of the mind, emotions, body and spirit for optimum well-being. The workshop will cover wholistic stress management and prevention and intervention strategies for use with you and adults. The purpose of the workshop is to help participants: 1) gain a sound background in wholistic approaches for stress management; 2) learn a variety of stress reduction and effective relaxation techniques; 3) increase one’s ability to conduct trainings on stress, anger and conflict management in a variety of settings. Upon completion, students will be permitted to promote this content in other settings.

Objectives:

1. The student will identify the types and causes of life stressors.

2. The student will understand the basic principles of stress management.

3. The student will recognize stress triggers and how to manage them.

4. The student will identify personal difficulties and reflect upon their own stress management and relaxation techniques becoming aware of everyday life stressors and handling pressures in a sustainable way.

5. The student will develop rational proactive responses to stressful situations.

6. The student will manage stress by developing a personal action plan through diet, sleep and other lifestyle factors.
