Our program is $3900. We offer an early bird discount to encourage early enrollment to save your spot. 

There are no additional costs to our program, although we recommend some coaching books. 

Yes, both AM and PM sessions are available and you may attend either based on your schedule.

The live sessions are the heart and soul of our program. It is where you practice the skills and grow as a confident coach.

That said, we know life happens and you may need to miss a session. You can record yourself coaching someone using the skills for that week. The recording must be submitted to your instructor. 

The NBHWC does not allow you to receive credit for watching the live session recording. 

Our Fall and Spring live sessions are on Thursdays and we offer times in the AM and PM. The live sessions are 2 hours long. 

The condensed Summer program has Tuesday AND Thursday live sessions and we offer AM and PM times. The live sessions are 3 hours long. 

Each weekly module contains a mix of teaching videos, readings, quizzes, discussion board assignments, and case studies. We recommend you complete the work before the live session so you are prepared to practice the new skills. Each module will take on average around 1.5-3 hours depending on prior knowledge.

Yes, our robust Health and Wellness Coach Certification program is designed to help you prepare for the National Exam.

No other programs / classes are needed.

We also offer a Free NBHWC Exam Study Course. 

Yes, we offer guidance on how to get started with your coaching business including: 

• Setting up your Business
• Creating your Coaching Program
• Coaching Toolbox with forms for your use 
• Business Blueprint

In addition, our Instructors own their own coaching business and provide real-life experience and advice for getting started and growing as a coach in your own independent practice. 

We offer a holistic curriculum, that focuses on the whole person so yes, we cover Nutrition, but not as in-depth as say, the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.

Our Nutrition curriculum includes: 

• Overview of Nutrition Plates (required information for the NBHWC Exam)
• Understanding Nutrients and Calories
• Healthy Weight and Optimal Nutrition
• The Role of Vitamins and Minerals
• Working with Special Populations

Yes, all curriculum is online and can be accessed at your convenience. The live sessions are held over zoom. 

There are no in-person requirements. 

Our Fall and Spring program is 24-weeks. (16 weeks of live sessions and 8 weeks of independent work time)

Summer is 8 weeks (6 weeks of live sessions and 2 weeks of independent work time) 

Each program has the same curriculum and requirements. 

No, our program does not have any prerequisites.

However, the NBHWC does have prerequisites for the National Exam, so if you plan to sit for the exam, please review their website. www.nbhwc.org 

Yes, we have developed 6 strategies to help our recent graduates to obtain their 50 coaching sessions (as required by the NBHWC to sit for the exam). Strategies include cross-cohort connections, coaching new ECC students, a ready-made flier that can be customized to distribute to local organizations, churches, gyms, schools, etc, and a Facebook community to promote your services in. ECC staff will work with recent graduates to fulfill this requirement.

To earn your CEWC (Certified Expert Wellness Coach) Certificate you need to complete the following:

• Coursework
• Attend 11 of the 16 live sessions
• Submit your Practical Skills Assessment (practice coaching videos)
• Pass the final Practical Skills Assessment (we spend the entire program working up to this) 

To earn your CEWC (Certified Expert Wellness Coach) Certificate AND your Certificate of Eligibility for the NBHWC Exam, you need to complete the following:

• Coursework
• Attend 16 of the 16 live sessions (or submit makeup coaching videos)
• Submit your Practical Skills Assessment (practice coaching videos)
• Pass the final Practical Skills Assessment (we spend the entire program working up to this)

You have one full year to complete all the requirements. After one year, you may choose to re-enroll in another cohort for $500. 

Our coaching curriculum is great for stand-alone coaches or those working in corporate wellness. We provide information on what coaching looks like in different settings, we also have case studies for coaches working in corporate wellness.
